EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has urged Nigerians to ensure that there is an alignment between their religious beliefs and behaviour as a people for a better Nigeria.

He expressed the need for individuals to allow their religious beliefs have an impact on their lives and relate well with neighbours, stressing that everyone must their brothers’ keepers.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Secretariat Community Central Mosque, Alhaji Lawal Pedro (SAN), stated that the Janazah Bay is meant to provide a place for Muslims to clean and wash corpses which is an important part of the rituals of burial in Islam.
He added that the Bay is the second to be commissioned in the State and is specifically designed for purifying and sanitising the body.
