The CEO of Jeju Air, Kim E-bae, has been banned from leaving South Korea following a fatal crash involving one of the airline’s planes.
The incident occurred on January 1, 2025, when a Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 crashed and caught fire at Muan International Airport, located approximately 288 kilometers southwest of Seoul. Tragically, 179 people lost their lives in the crash.
