Joao Felix Nears Chelsea Return With Long-Term Deal – Details

Atletico Madrid has agreed to transfer their attacking midfielder, Joao Felix, with the player expected to arrive in London this week for his medical examination.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Felix is on the verge of signing a contract with Chelsea that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until June 30, 2030.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Romano also confirmed that the Portuguese international is set to undergo a medical at Chelsea this week, a crucial step before finalizing his return to the club. Felix previously played for Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid during the 2022-2023 season.

The agreement between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid is reportedly valued at up to £46.3 million. Felix is poised to sign a six-year contract with an option for an additional year, potentially extending his stay at Stamford Bridge beyond 2030.

All parties involved, including Felix’s agent Jorge Mendes, are reportedly in agreement with the transfer, and it is expected that Chelsea will officially announce the deal soon.
