Job Title: Activation Manager

Job Summary
- A leader in the FCMG industry is looking for a detail-oriented Activation Manager on our team to manage our Brands and projects.
Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for all Modern Trade activations
- Provide creative and innovative ideas, concepts, and offerings to stay ahead of competition and drive sales performance
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans
- Organizes, plans, and leads campaign and project status and progress meetings; documents project summary; and provides Account Manager and/or senior leadership ongoing updates concerning campaign and project completion.
- Work with Modern Trade team to understand particular business strategies and quarterly plans and build on those strategies to generate more revenue
- Identifying opportunities and gaps in the trade and develop proposals strategies to harness growth in Modern Trade.
- Recruitment, training, and supervision of brand promoters for all activations
- Share regular reports and updates on all Modern Trade activations, execution, and insights on activations to all line Managers as well as presenting the same to the entire merchandising team during the weekly Friday meetings
- Prepare and follow up on planning of activation JPs and selection of outlets to be activated with the team.
- Ensure all brand activations are run flawlessly and as per stipulated operational standards i.e. Activations kick-off as scheduled, targets and KPIs
- Activations represent the Brand image. Ensure all regulatory standards are met in terms of product handling and Brand communication
- Recognize, resolve and/or escalate any potential issues quickly and effectively by working with the necessary team members.
- Assist in getting relevant permits, licenses and MEMOs with the support of the Account managers and Team leaders which will assist in all activations.
- Lead in merchandising team weekly and monthly performance evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales Event management, or any related field
- 2 – 4 years work experience.
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
- Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
- Outstanding communication skills
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices
