Twitter explodes after Ghanaian Actor, John Dumelo vows to trek from Accra to Lagos if Nigeria defeats Ghana.
The Ghanaian politician has staunch conviction in the ability of the Black Stars of Ghana to come through victoriously.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that famous Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has stirred reactions on Twitter after the actor heaped praises on his national football team and tipped them to win today’s match against Nigeria.

Dumelo vowed to walk over 1,075 kilometres on barefoot from Accra to Lagos with ginger on his head the next day after the match if the Black Stars lose to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The 38-year-old politician expressed staunch conviction in the ability of the Black Stars of Ghana to come through victoriously.

“There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head. Super Eagles my foot”, Dumelo tweeted.

Dumelo went further stating that “The Super Eagles should stop dreaming. They can’t win their game in Ghana. If they do, I will…”

Mr John, this is football banter taken to another level, perhaps too far. From all indications, Nigeria will win Ghana and I have a high level of doubt you’ll fulfill your obligatory barefooted trekking. Maybe you might want to recant this before the match proper. Think about it
