Jonathan Bags Another International Appointment

  • Goodluck Jonathan has bagged another international appointment.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that former President Of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, has been appointed as the Chancellor of Cavendish University Uganda (CUU).

The latest appointment bagged by Jonathan was disclosed via the institution’s Facebook page on Tuesday.

It read, “Welcome aboard Goodluck Jonathan as you take over as the Chancellor of CUU. We look forward to this new era and achieving great things under your leadership. Success begins at Cavendish!”

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that CUU which has been in existence since 2008 is among the top-ranked institutions in Uganda and in Africa.

It was further learnt that the private university held its first graduation ceremony in November 2011.

The former President of Zambia, late Kenneth Kaunda, was the ex-Chancellor of the university.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Jonathan, since leaving the Nigerian number one position in 2015, has been honoured with several appointments and awards.

Jonathan is the incumbent Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Special Envoy and Mediator to Mali, among other engagements.

Recall that last Saturday, President Muhammadu Buhari hailed the former governor of Bayelsa State as an “astute mediator” and congratulated him “for his untiring efforts” on the Mali situation.
