With preparations for a rematch with Mexican boxer, Andy Ruiz, now on, Nigerian-born British boxer, Anthony Joshua, seems to have dumped Nigerian dish, pounded yam, for a new diet to put him in shape.
As he comes to terms with the upset and loss of his three World Boxing Association, International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization titles, Joshua returned to social media on Thursday.
And with a rematch now billed for later this year, Joshua shared a short video of a long line of meals that form part of his new diet on Instastories, teasing in another post: “Does this mean no more pounded yam?”
It was a post many Nigerians, who continue to show him love despite suffering the first loss of his glittering career, can relate with.
