JTF Chases Suspected Yahoo Boy To Death In Osun

Tension in Osogbo on Tuesday evening, as men of Osun State Joint Task Force allegedly chased a suspected Yahoo boy to death while others sustained injuries.

Our reporter identified one of the suspected Yahoo boys who died from the scene as Remi.

It was said that Remi and three others who were riding in a Toyota Corolla with registration number KUJ-553LY, ram into an electric pool off the road while they were been chased by operatives of the Joint Task Force on Tuesday evening in Osogbo.

The accident occurred at the East bypass, claiming the life of one while the other three persons have been rushed to the hospital.

However, after the incident, the officers made their way quickly out of sight, shooting sporadically in the air to pave way for them.

Although that did not hinder the angry youths from protesting the death of Remi.

The angry residents quickly picked up the remains of Remi and headed to the entrance of the State Governor’s House in Oke-fia, damaging a vehicle of the Nigeria Police at Oke-fia.

Speaking to the angry youths, the Spokesperson of the police in Osun, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident added that the force will investigate the matter.
