Eko Hot Blog reports that Orange House emerged victorious in a jubilant display as Masha Allah Starlight School held its fourth Inter-house sports competition.
The event took place on Thursday at the Lead City University Stadium, Ibadan.
Orange House, led by the school Vice Principal (Admin), Mrs Tohibat Lawal recorded a landmark back-to-back victory having triumphed in the 2022 edition.
In the other result declared by the popular Yoruba Sportscaster, Abbas Ishola (Abbasllah) who hosted the event, Yello house came second, Green third, while Blue house came fourth.

Buoyed by its colourful display, Blue house edged out its closest rival, yellow house to win the parade competition coordinated by Alh. Abdulsemiu Sani.
In his address, the chairman of the occasion, Engineer Abdulwasiu Olayiwola, the school PTA Chairman, commended the school for giving parents something to be happy about considering the current economic hardship in the country.
“This is a really colourful event”. We appreciate the school for giving us something to be happy about.”

In his appreciation message, the school Chief Custodian, Alhaji Lawal Abbas Abolaji appreciated parents and other stakeholders in the school for making the event a reality.

“We sincerely appreciate our parents for their usual support and cooperation.
“School is not all about academic. Extracurricular activities such as sport is an integral part of what makes children develop well.”
“We are sports loving school.” Many of these children have the potential to become great sportsmen and women in the future.”
“However, it takes events such as these to unlock their talents.” He said
The event featured sporting activities such as match past, relay race, three-legged race, funny race, catching the school bus etc.
Other side attractions include, Staff race, parent race, old students race, Invited School race among others.
