EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigeria’s Under 17 team, popularly known as Flamingos, have qualified for the semi-finals of this year’s U-17 women’s World Cup.
This is the first time the team would be reaching the last four in the competition. The tournament is currently going on in India.
After a 1-1 draw, the Nigerian women’s team beat their US opponent 4-3 on penalties to book a place in the semifinals.
