June 12 Protesters Stop Busload Of Northerners Going To Lagos, Recover Guns

  • June 12 protesters have stopped a busload of Northerners going to Lagos.

The June 12 protesters in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Saturday, intercepted a bus conveying some northerners from Gombe State to Lagos State.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that locally made guns were found in the bus.

The June 12 protesters later handed the suspects to the operatives of the security outfit, Amotekun.

Citing the rising insecurity and economic hardship, some persons had fixed June 12, Nigeria’s Democracy Day, for the protest.

The June 12 protest was held in Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Rivers, and Abuja.
