Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Friday announced that the country has recorded 386 new cases of COVID-19.
The agency made the announcement in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
The 386 fresh cases is the highest daily toll since the country recorded it first case in February.
According to NCDC, Of the 386 case, 176 are recorded in Lagos, 65 in Kano, 31 in Kastina, 17 in Borno, 15 in Bauchi, 14 in Nasarawa, 13 in Ogun, 10 in plateau, 4 in Oyo, Sokoto, Rivers, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Edo, Ebonyi, Ondo, 1 each in Enugu, Imo, Gombe and Oṣun.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 3912, with 679 discharged and 117 deaths recorded.
