EKO HOT BLOG reports that the former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Okey Wali, who was kidnapped, has been freed after being held captive for two weeks.
Wali, a prominent Senior Advocate of Nigeria, was abducted by armed men disguised as military personnel in the Obiri-Kwere area of the East-West Road in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, two weeks ago on a Monday.
The NBA chairman, Port Harcourt Branch, Viktor Benibo, confirmed Wali’s release, saying, “He is in his house. He was released in the early hours of today.”
