It would be recalled that Governor Ganduje had first sacked Magaji who was a commissioner after a post on Facebook inferred he mocked the death of Abba Kyari, the erstwhile Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, who had died of complications from COVID-19.
However, some months later, Ganduje engaged him in another capacity.
He was appointed the Executive Chairman, state NNPC/AKK Gas Pipeline Project and Gas Industrialisation Committee.
