Unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have again attacked the Igangan community in the Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.
Igangan, a southern Oyo town that gained prominence amid Yoruba-Fulani tensions early this year, was attacked by the suspected herdsmen on Friday night.
A source said disclosed that the suspected Fulani herdsmen, who disguised in custom uniform, stormed the community on Friday night, shooting sporadically.
“Igangan is under attack presently, the attackers wore a customs uniform to deceive the villagers,” the source disclosed.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest attack is coming a few weeks after over 20 people were killed when unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen attacked the community.
It would be recalled that popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo fondly known as Sunday Igboho, had in February, this year, issued an eviction notice to herdsmen in the Oyo community, after blaming them for insecurity in the area.
