Mrs Blessing, daughter of the Akwa Ibom State Deputy governor, Dr. Akon Eyakenyi, is dead.

Eko Hot Blog gathered that the deceased, who recently got married about seven months ago, died from complications arising from childbirth in a Port Harcourt, Rivers State hospital.

Condolences from government officials, politicians and friends have been pouring in for the bereaved family in their moment of grief.

Eko Hot Blog reports that last week the family of Olatunji Disu, the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), were in mourning mood following the tragic loss of their son in a fatal car accident on Monday.

Two weeks ago also in  a tragic turn of events, the daughter of Mohammed Bello Sifawa, Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, along with her three children, perished in a devastating fire that engulfed their home.
