JUST IN: Alaafin Speaks On Purported Rift With Oyo Governor, Makinde

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi says their is no love lost between him the state Governor, Seyi Makinde.

The purported feud is a precursor to the recent citing of the Police Mobile Squadron in Ago-Are.

It was rumoured the monarch orchestrated the establishment of the police unit in Oyo town but it was allegedly hijacked and taken elsewhere by Makinde.

But the monarch, while hosting the Governor who was in Oyo to commission some projects as parts of activities to mark his first year anniversary in office, disclosed that he had to hard feelings towards the governor.

He said if he had any ill-feelings towards the Governor or the Government, he would have walked up to him or write him to lay bare his mind.
