[JUST IN] APC Releases Unity List

  • Those on the list have the support of the powers that be in the ruling party to form the next crop of National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a list of aspirants anointed by critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is out.

Those on the list have the support of the powers that be in the ruling party to form the next crop of National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC.

According to the list, a former governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu would emerge national chairman of the party while Senator Iyiola Omisore (Osun State) would be national secretary.

Senator Abubakar Kyari (Borno State) has been penned as Deputy National Chairman (North) while Chief Emma Eneukwu (Enugu) would be deputy national chairman (South).

This online platform earlier reported that six persons vying for the position of the National Chairman of the APC have stepped down from the contest.

The six candidates backed the candidate of President Muhammdu Buhari as their consensus candidate, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

Recall that some aspirants vying for various positions in the party, including those seeking the office of the national chairman at today’s convention had reportedly refused to step down defying the President.
