JUST IN: Arrested Suspects Reveal Why They Killed Senator Na’Allah’s Son
- Arrested suspects have revealed why they killed Senator Na’Allah’s son in Kaduna State.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that the two suspects, Bashir Muhammad 23, and Nasiru Salisu, 27, arrested in connection with the killing of Captain Abdulkareem Na’Allah, the eldest son of Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, have revealed why they killed the Senator’s son.
EKOHOTBLOG recalls that the eldest son of the Senator was on August 29, 2021, found dead in his room in Malali GRA, Kaduna State.
However, Muhammad, the prime suspect, while speaking to newsmen at the police headquarters on Thursday, disclosed that they gained access into the deceased’s house to steal his car.
The suspect, who claimed he did not know his victim, said, “One day, we were passing in front of his house, three of us including Nasiru, me (Bashir) and Usman DanKano, when we saw a car parked inside the deceased house.
“DanKano casually said we will come and pick the car from the house.
“The next day while it was raining, we gained access into the vicinity of the deceased residence, climbed the rooftop, and removed the nails of the roofing sheets.
“When we got inside the house, Nasiru and I opened the door for Usman who was holding a torchlight. The light from the torch attracted the attention of the deceased and immediately he saw us, he picked something from under his bed and he started struggling with Nasiru.
“During the struggle, the deceased fell down and when he fell down, we used a rope for hanging clothes to tie him and he never spoke again. We picked up the car keys and left,” Muhammad disclosed.
Also speaking, Nasiru Salisu, the other arrested suspect, disclosed that Muhammad enlisted him in the operation, adding that the prime suspect tied the Senator’s son up after the struggle.

“I bought 23 bags of rice with my share of the money but it was intercepted by customs,” he said.
However, the third suspect, identified as Usman DanKano, is still at large.
The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Muhammad Jalige, while parading the arrested suspects, said they have confessed to having carried out the offence.
The police spokesperson added that the suspects further disclosed that the vehicle was sold in the Niger Republic at the rate of N1 million with the proceed shared amongst them.
Jalige noted that an investigation was ongoing with the aim of arresting the fleeing suspect and be charged to court for prosecution.
