EKOHOTBLOG reports that unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted Adedamola Alayaki, the son of a former National Secretary of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Adewunmi Alayaki.
It was gathered that the son of the former NMA Secretary was abducted on Wednesday in Ogun State.
EKOHOTBLOG further learnt that the gunmen had contacted the family of the victim for N20million ransom before his release.
It was gathered that Adedamola was kidnapped on his father’s farm at the Isaga-Orile community in the Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

As gathered by EKOHOTBLOG, the latest abduction was confirmed by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Thursday morning, noting that Adedamola is the Manager in one of his father’s farms.
“They went to the farm and I think that was where some gunmen abducted the guy,” the police spokesperson disclosed.
He added that the police were on the trail of the abductors, saying, “We are on top of the situation. Our men are on the trail of the gunmen.”
