After the inauguration of Governor Douye Diri, Monday Bubou-Obolo, Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, has stepped down for the emergence of a new Speaker.
Diri is from the same Bayelsa Central Senatorial District as Bubou-Obolo .
Deputy Speaker, Abraham Ngobere , has been elected by members of the house as the new Speaker of the Assembly.
