JUST IN: Buhari Meets Chad’s Interim President

• President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, met with the President of Chad’s Transitional Military Council, General Mahamat Idriss Deby, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
• The President of Chad’s Transitional Military Council is on a day official visit to Nigeria after visiting the Republic of Niger on May 11.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, met with President of Chad’s Transitional Military Council, General Mahamat Idriss Deby, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Buhari received General Deby at around 11:11am.

It was further learnt that the President of Chad’s Transitional Military Council is on a day official visit to Nigeria after visiting the Republic of Niger on May 11.

Deby took over the mantle of leadership in Chad after the death of his father on April 19, 2021.
