JUST IN: CJN Administers Oath To 72 New SANs
The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad has sworn in 72 lawyers as Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).
The CJN who was represented at the ceremony by the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour also warned the new SANs against disobeying court orders.

The legal practitioners are awarded the rank of SAN in recognition of excellence and for having distinguished themselves as Advocates and Academics.
Eko Hot Blog reported in November that the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) announced the elevation of 72 lawyers to the rank of the SAN.
