JUST IN: Court Certifies Bashir Machina As Yobe North Senatorial Candidate
Bashir Sheriff Machina has been recognized by a Federal High Court sitting in Damaturu, Yobe State, on Wednesday as the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) legitimate candidate for the Yobe North senatorial seat in the 2023 elections.
Eko Hot Blogreports that Justice Fadima Aminu said the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should immediately publish Mr Machina’s name as the ruling party’s candidate in the district’s 2023 National Assembly election.

The judge also said Mr Machina was duly elected senatorial candidate for APC, consequently upholding the May 28 primary election of the party that was also certified by INEC.
