EKOHOTBLOG reports that the Department of State Services (DSS) has released two more aides of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho.
It was gathered that the detained supporters of the Yoruba rights activist were released on Friday to their lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that the DSS, however, refused to release the remaining two persons, Lady K and one other, contrary to an order of the court that granted bail to the arrested 12 aides of the Yoruba Nation agitator in the custody of the secret police.
EKOHOTBLOG had earlier reported that the DSS, on August 30, 2021, released eight of the detained aides.
It would be recalled that Olajengbesi had issued an ultimatum to the DSS to release the detained aides, who were arrested at Igboho’s Ibadan residence in the Soka area on July 1, 2021.
The supporters of Sunday Igboho had met their bail conditions including the provision of 24 sureties but the DSS lawyer, Idowu Awo, kicked against the bail granted by Justice Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja to four of the detainees.
The DSS lawyer had claimed that the detainees were heavily involved in the alleged offence of arms stockpiling and other criminal activities of Igboho.

Awo had also filed a remand application for the four detainees saying their release would affect investigation.
The DSS lawyer further approached an Appeal Court sitting in Abuja to revoke the bail earlier granted to the four detainees.
It would be further recalled that the DSS, on July 1, 2021, raided the residence of Sunday Igboho in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, and arrested about 12 of his aides.
The secret police also killed two of the aides in a gun battle.
The supporters of the Yoruba secessionist leader were later moved to Abuja where they have since been in detention.
