EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Vigilant Group of Nigeria (VGN) in Oyo State yesterday issued a fresh alert over the influx of bandits into the forests in the South-West area, particularly in the state.
Therefore, it requested the state government to arm the gang with cutting-edge weapons so they can fight and drive them out of the jungles.
Mr. Ogunmakin Moses, the State Commandant, bemoaned that his troops were suffering despite their dedication to the security of people and property in the state when he spoke to reporters in Ibadan.
