EKO HOT BLOG reports that a shopping plaza near the Relief Market in Onitsha, Anambra State, has been razed down by fire.
It gathered that the plaza housing multi-billion naira worth of goods is owned by traders yet to return from the Yuletide holidays.
Details of the fire incident are still sketchy, but some eyewitnesses said it started from a shop within the plaza on Friday.
The state fire chief, Martin Agbili, did not respond to calls and messages to his mobile line.
But the men of the state fire service were already on the ground battling to put out the fire as of the time of filing this report.
