• A former Super Eagles player and the Team Manager of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Barnabas Imenger, is dead.
• The former Super Eagles star played for former Hawks FC of Makurdi, which later became BBC FC, Lobi Bank FC and Lobi Stars Football Club.

A former Super Eagles player and the Team Manager of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Barnabas Imenger, is dead.

Imenger died after a protracted illness in Abuja, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.

The former Super Eagles star played for former Hawks FC of Makurdi, which later became BBC FC, Lobi Bank FC and Lobi Stars Football Club.

It was further gathered that his corpse was being conveyed from Abuja to Makurdi.

A statement by the management of Lobi stars football added that the burial date will be announced after consultation with the family.
