Eko Hot Blog reports that Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State swore in new caretaker chairmen for the state’s 23 local government areas on Wednesday.
The inauguration took place at the Government House in Port Harcourt amid tight security.
Recall that Eko Hot Blog reported that Rivers State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Victor Oko Jumbo had sent out invites to screen the Caretaker Committee, CTC, Chairmen, and members for the 23 local government areas of the state.
The House received the list of nominees on Tuesday and promptly invited them for screening early Wednesday morning.
