Late Sammie Okposo
Eko Hot Blog reports that Nigerian gospel music sensation, Sammie Okposo, has died.
He was 51.
According to family sources, the gospel artist slumped and died on Friday morning.
Earlier this year, Okposo made the headlines because of his public apology to his wife, Ozioma.
The gospel singer apologised for cheating on her with another woman in the United States in an incident that happened in 2021.
Consequently, he decided to take time off from ministration to retrace his step with God before returning to ministry after a few months.
In May, Okposo survived a ghastly car accident at third mainland bridge in Lagos State but the veteran singer said he “was saved from the hands of the devil and his cohorts.”
