Gunmen have abducted a serving Commissioner in Cross River State.

She was whisked away at Mbukpa, Calabar South at about 9:25 am.

Security operatives are said to have found her shoes by the Creeks in Calabar South.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Professor Gertrude Njar, a serving Commissioner for Women’s Affairs in Cross River State has been kidnapped.
It was gathered that she was whisked away at Mbukpa, Calabar South Local Government Area of the State at about 9:25 am on Wednesday, 1 February 2023.

Kenneth was abducted a few days ago alongside his relative, Eunice around 4 pm along the Biase-Calabar highway while travelling to Boki LGA in preparation for his late father’s burial scheduled to be held on February 3rd and 4th in the Okundi community.
