JUST IN: Gunmen Abduct State Commissioner Of Information, Son [PHOTOS]

Heavily-armed gunmen have abducted Nasarawa State Commissioner Of Information and his son.

 

EKO HOT BLOG areports that the Nasarawa State Commissioner of Information, Mohammed Yakubu Lawal, and his son Mushab Mohammed Yakubu Lawal have been abducted by heavily-armed gunmen at his residence in Government Reserved Area (GRA), Nasarawa Eggon.

 

It was gathered that the Lawals were abducted at about 9 pm on Monday after sporadic shootings. His son was reportedly later released.

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the state police Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel said the command was yet to receive such report.

 

The abduction of the Commissioner is happening two days after robbers invaded the Government Science Secondary School, in the same Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area (LGA) of Nasarawa State, and killed a worker.
