JUST IN: Gunmen Invade Kaduna Community, Kill Village Head

  • Unknown gunmen have killed a village head during an attack on a community in Kaduna State.

Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed a village head, Anja Mallam, during an attack on Dogon Daji in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.

It was learnt that the attack which led to the death of the village head occurred during the weekend in his residence.

The latest attack was confirmed by the Kaduna State Government via a statement by the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, on Sunday.

Aruwan noted that the state government was informed of the development by security agencies.

He said, “Governor Nasir El-Rufai expressed sadness at the report and prayed for the repose of the soul of the village head.

“The governor sent condolences to the family of the deceased, and the entire community of Dogon Daji over the shocking and brutal killing,” the commissioner stated.

Aruwan further noted that an investigation into the incident is ongoing, pledging that the perpetrators would be brought to book.
