JUST IN: Gunmen Kill PoS Operator In Delta
- Unknown gunmen have killed a PoS operator in Delta State.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that tragedy struck in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State as unknown gunmen shot dead a Point of Sales (PoS) operator identified as Kelly Onomor.
Sources disclosed that the gunmen stormed the deceased’s shop on Tuesday and shot him in the head after he allegedly refused to hand over a bag containing N2 million cash for the day’s business.
EKOHOTBLOG gathered that the PoS operator was rushed to a nearby clinic before he was confirmed dead by medical personnel on duty.
A Facebook user, DE Kings King, who posted the killing of the deceased on his handle, wrote, “We regret to announce the passing of our brotherly Kelly Onomor who was shot dead by armed robbers over N2 million which he use (sic) to run his PoS business.

“He was shot in his head after refusing to give the robbers the money. May his soul rest well with the Lord,” DE Kings King stated.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, when contacted on Wednesday said the police were not aware of the incident.
“Nobody reported. And no one can say for sure if it happened because our men have been there at the scene and could not find anything,” the police spokesperson said.
