JUST IN: Gunmen Kill Seven Vigilantes, Raze Military Vehicle In Zamfara

No fewer than seven vigilantes have been killed by unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits following an attack on Dansadau town in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.
It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the community around 3am on Friday and went after selected targets.
A resident disclosed that the assailants fired several shots in the air and went into some houses and abducted 13 people, including women.
He said, “Those killed were the vigilantes who bravely came out of their houses and fought the attackers. The armed criminals then set ablaze an armoured vehicle stationed at the community by the security operatives.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Dansadau, a community located 100km south of Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, has suffered series of deadly attacks.
The gunmen have attacked the community after the local vigilantes killed some suspected bandits terrorising the area.
However, the Zamfara State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Muhammad Shehu, could not be reached for comment as of press time.
