Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has emerged the new Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly.
Ekohotblog reports that Hamisu previously held the deputy speaker position.
While on the other hand, Zubairu Hamza Masu from Sumaila local government is appointed the new Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.
The changes came on following the resignation of AbdulAziz Garba Gafasa as Speaker On Tuesday, December 15.
Gafasa resigned on a personal ground, though reports gathered pointed that the Speaker quickly left his seat upon sensing that the House was moving to impeach him.
