The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said that there was no crack in its rank, despite the fact that its Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was currently detained by the Department of States Services (DSS).
IPOB called in its teeming supporters never to be weakened by the antics of those willing to play the role of spoiler as it observed that Sunday’s ‘unauthorised’ statement was never targeted at discouraging people from observing its sit-at-home order.

The Director of Media and Publicity of the IPOB, Emma Powerful, made this known in a statement during his reaction to the statement issued by the younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, Kanunta Kanu, on Sunday, which countered the group planned weekly sit-at-home in the South-East region.
Similarly, the National Examination Council (NECO) said there was no disruption of examination in the South-East as a result of the sit-at-home order by IPOB.
The spokesperson of the examination council, Azeez Sani, said this in an interview with journalists.
Sani said, “We have not received any news of any form of disruption whatsoever from the areas you mentioned or any other part of the country. But in case that happens, the council will handle everything appropriately.”
