EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Ondo State chapter of the Labour Party has raised the alarm over the omission of its logo on the ballot papers sent to the state.
This is noticed is coming barely 24 hours before the presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled to hold Saturday.

The party’s state secretary, Mr Agbaje Abiodun, at a press briefing in Akure, the state capital on Friday said, “There is an omission of our party logo on the ballots brought by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives) elections.”
Abiodun threatened to challenge the action of INEC in court if it went ahead to conduct the election as scheduled without amendments.
Recall that a similar discrepancy was observed in Lagos State yesterday (Thursday).
The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party, Pastor Mrs. Dayo Ekong, decried the exclusion of the party’s National Assembly candidates on the ballot papers, calling on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to either correct what she described an “anomaly” or reschedule the elections.

According to her, the malicious “error” was discovered by her and her team of executive members during the routine inspection of election materials, declaring such as an “unacceptable and wicked way of disenfranchising Lagos electorates.”
