EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Lagos State Government has commenced the clean-up of shanties occupied by squatters under the Obalende Bridge in the Eti-Osa local Government Area .
The State issued a four-day ultimatum to commercial drivers and squatters under the bridge to vacate their shanties and move any unlawful motor parks to the state’s recognised parks.

Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced this in a video shared on his X handle on Saturday.
His caption reads: “The enforcement team of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, this morning, resumes the clean-up of the Obalende under-bridge.”
