EKO HOT BLOG reports that Mohammed Isa, the Special Assistant on Media to Senate President Ahmad Lawan, is dead.
It was gathered that Isa gave up the ghost on Friday following a fatal accident he was involved in along Minna road on Monday.
Late Isa was involved in a car crash alongside a former Commissioner of Information and Strategy of Niger State, Danladi Ndayebo. Ndayebo passed away too.
Confirming Isa’s death on Saturday morning was public affairs analyst, Gimba Kakanda.
“What makes death scary is the finality of it. And, often, this doesn’t dawn on you until much later in your grief. I was told about Mohammed Isa’s death last night but just didn’t know how to process it.
“It’s just too much to bear. He was the co-passenger in late Malam Danladi Ndayebo’s car when the accident happened along Minna road, and had shared a heartwarming update that he was responding to treatment,” Kakanda wrote on his verified Facebook page.
“These twin tragedies won’t be forgotten in our lifetime.
“The first day I met Malam Mohammed, I believe, it was through Abdulaziz Abdulaziz.
“He was so jovial and made fun of me that I had to ask Abdulaziz if I had met him before then. His sense of humour was infectious. He was always full of life and always had something funny and witty to say.
“May Allah forgive their shortcomings, repose their souls and grant their loved ones the strength to recover from these shocks. Ameen.”
