A community leader, Mukaila Ashiru, who spoke to newsmen on Saturday, said the heavy downpour had caused sorrow in the community as residents had nowhere to relocate after the house they built many decades ago had been submerged.
Ashiru, who is the Imam of Aponmu Mosque, therefore, appealed to the Ondo State Government to come to their aid by embarking on proper channelisation of the area and also access the level of damage with a view to assisting the victims.
