EKO HOT BLOG reports that two bodies have been found by emergency personnel in the wreckage of a building that fell early on Sunday in Lekki, Lagos State.
Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, the National Emergency Management Agency’s South West Zonal Coordinator, disclosed this to newsmen on Sunday in Lagos.
According to Farinloye, the seven-story structure that was under construction on Oba Idowu Oniru Street in Lekki collapsed.
He claimed that efforts were still being made to free the people who were still entombed beneath the rubble.
The Nigerian Police Force, NEMA, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, State Fire Service, and Lagos State Building Control Agency were among the emergency responders on the scene.
