JUST IN: New Militant Group Emerges In South-East
- A new militant group has emerged in the South-East region.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that a new militant group, ‘Biafran Motherland Warrior’, has emerged in the South-East region of the country.
It was gathered that the group, which was said to be deadlier than the Eastern Security Network (ESN), the armed wing of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), reportedly operates around the Mbaise area in Imo State.
The militant group, EKOHOTBLOG gathered, has been attacking security operatives in the area.

It was further learnt that the residents of the Imo community had raised the alarm about the activities of the assailants, who were said to be targeting security agents.
However, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Mike Abattam, could not be reached for comment on the latest development as of press time.
