JUST IN: Nigeria And USA To Launch Direct Flight To Houston, Texas
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a bid to expand the horizon of the Aviation industry and deepening the bilateral relations with the United States, Nigeria is working towards a direct flight to Houston, Texas.
This was contained in a statement made by the head of press and public affairs of the ministry of aviation, Odutayo Oluseyi while receiving the Mayor of Houston Sylvester Turner on Tuesday.

The permanent secretary to the ministry of aviation Dr. Meribole emphasize that the administration’s is keen to exploring investment and tourism opportunities as well as building on the existing bilateral relationship between the two countries.
He assures the delegation that all modalities required for the Bilateral Air Services between the two Nations will commence as soon as new Minister is appointed.

In his address, the Mayor described Houston as a gate way for trade to central and the western United States with strong infrastructure and strategic geographic location that will expand their relationship with Nigeria through Healthcare, technology, Agriculture, energy and education.
Ambassador Akinyemi Bolaji of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, assured the Mayor, that the proposal of establishing a consulate office in Houston will be considered.
