JUST IN: Nnamani’s Ebeano Political Movement Joins APC

  • Ebeano political group headed by Chimaroke Nnamani has joined APC.

  • The group switched allegiance on Tuesday in Enugu.

  • The group made their decision known after its leader, Chimaroke declared his departure from the PDP.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a political structure founded by the former governor of Enugu State, Senator Dr Chimaroke Nnamani, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The announcement was made by Chief Emmanuel Okwor, Chairman of Ebeano, on Tuesday in Enugu.

The announcement is coming a day after its leader, Chimaroke, announced his decision to dump the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The former Enugu governor had been groaning over his loss of the Enugu East senatorial district seat to Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party, LP.

”The alliance with APC is to consolidate the partnership with President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve good governance in the country,” Okwo said.

He further added that members of the ‘Ebeano’ political family across the country had been consulted and in agreement with the alliance in the interest of the people.
