Report reaching EkoHotBlog says, the Oyo state government in a bid to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the state, has ordered a shut down of the state civil service for two weeks.
According to Governor Seyi Makinde, the shutdown will take effect from Friday, March 27th.
The Governor made this known in a tweet on Wednesday on his handle, in the post he added that only workers rendering essential services will be required to report for duty.
He said “The Oyo State civil service will shut down for two weeks from, Friday, March 27, 2020. Only workers rendering essential services will be required to report for duty.
