Armed Policemen have besieged the premises of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) in Adeniyi Jones area of Ikeja in Lagos.
The protest is to demand the freedom of Omoyele Sowore and scheduled to take place at the venue at 10am on Wednesday.
Omoyele Sowore,a publisher of Sahara reporter has been in detention since August.
He (Sowore) was accused of threatening public peace with the #RevolutionNow protest.

A CDHR official who preferred anonymity said that security operatives have been at the premises since 7am.
“We didn’t invite them. This is just a peaceful protest and we don’t know why they are here in their numbers,” he said.
In the same vein,the Lagos office of Sahara reporter was also barricaded by armed policemen.
A source from Sahara reporter said that the policemen were shouting come out and banging the gate.
