The police statement comes amid social media outcry over MohBad’s passing.
Before his death, he was a former artiste of Marlian Records, which is owned by Naira Marley.
In October 2022, the late singer alleged assault by the record label’s head honcho known as Sam Larry.
MohBad also claimed members of Marley’s music label assaulted him for requesting a new manager, alleging that they were after his life.
After his demise, a clip emerged of Sam Larry, an ally of Marley, trying to assault him at a video shoot, as late as June 2023.
There are insinuations that MohBad, who was quickly buried on Wednesday without autopsy, was murdered.
