JUST IN: Popular Nigerian Musician Is Dead (Photo)

• A popular Nigerian musician is dead.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that popular Hausa singer, Magajiya Dambatta, has been pronounced dead.

It was gathered that the musician died on Friday evening at the age of 86.

It was further learnt that the entertainer passed away after a brief illness at her home in Dambatta in Kano State.

The deceased, who later became blind, rose to stardom in the 1970s to 1980s.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that late Dambatta’s songs revolved around the importance of education, good moral values, and child upbringing. She also often condemn social vices, among others.
