Buhari Reacts To Rufai’s Death

  • Nigeria’s president mourns the passing of one of civil service’s most dedicated staff, as Hajiya Aisha Rufai is confirmed dead.

  • Prior to Hajiya Aisha Rufai’s death, she served as the Secretary/Director of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board of the Ministry of Interior (CDCFIB).

  • President Buhari’s message was passed across in a statement by spokesman, Garba Shehu.

EKO HOTBLOG reports that Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the passing of Hajiya A’isha Rufa’i, the Secretary/Director of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board of the Ministry of Interior (CDCFIB)..

The president expressed his feelings in a statement by spokesman Malam Garba Shev in Abuja on Monday.

Buhari expressed his deep sorrow and sorrow and recalled her previous contributions to the deceased federal civil servants as organizers and effective administrators in all her capacity.

He prayed for the rest of her soul and the strength of her extended family in Kano to bear the loss of her.

Meanwhile, the late Aisha received an award from Home Minister Rauf Alegvesola for her “dedication and duty”. The minister described her as “exemplary” and asked civil servants to “give her greater responsibility”.

“She has taken a Camel through the eye of a needle” that is, she has achieved so much from very little  and l commend her” Aregbesola had said of the now deceased Aisha Rufai.
